The Throat Chakra:
Here is the power center of choice where we have our ability to speak up and establish our boundaries. Our life choices are made here and then pushed into the lower chakras for implementation. Often that which we do not want to let go of is found here. This is an important place to release things to divine guidance and to accept faith in the divine plan. This is our source of communication and expression. Creative arts come from here. When we have the capacity for speaking openly about our fears and find it easy to set boundaries we can have a sense of the inner will and find a way to express it in the world. Every choice has consequences and when we trust the divine we take power back from the inability to control things. I talk more about this in my course.
Which organs are affected by the crown chakra? The throat, thyroid, neck vertebrae, mouth, teeth, gums, thyroid, jaw and hypothalamus all reside in this area. Here the symptoms of energy leaking can be a raspy throat, chronic sore throat, mouth ulcers, gum issues, scales, swollen glands and thyroid problems. When we realize our strength in making choices and fuel our personal expression by following our dream we can create balance here. If not, addiction, judgment, criticism, and the inability to make decisions will prevail and energy will continue to leak from here.
How to care for your throat chakra?
The best way to maintain the health of the throat chakra is being honest and authentic with yourself and others. Be impeccable with your word. If you are angry, be angry. Be who you are. Always be a mirror of truth. The idea is to be your authentic self. When you trust yourself, you can be truthful in the world. The body relaxes when someone tells the truth. Give yourself permission to speak your mind and give voice to the real you. Letting go, speaking your truth and having confidence in your decisions will set you free. More about this in my CD.
